A community for early-career research scholars who want to connect research to impact. The community is supported by the Academy of Management (AOM) and hosted by the Organization and the Natural Environment AOM division.

WELCOME
We started this community in April 2020 with a simple goal: to connect early-career scholars who care deeply about making a real-world difference through their research. We define impact in two ways: when our research changes how organizations and decision-makers think and act, and when we use our role as academics to foster positive change beyond our immediate research findings.
If you think that research should shape how organizations and decision-makers think and act and that scholars can be agents of positive change—you are in the right place. We know it is often said to wait until after tenure to focus on impact, but we believe building the skills and mindset for impact should start now.
This is a space for conversation, support, and shared learning. Together, we explore what it really means to do impactful research, how to navigate the challenges, and how to bring our work into the world in meaningful ways.
