Fostering the Next Generation of Organization Scholar
Now in its third year, the Impact Scholar Mentorship Program is a key initiative aimed at supporting early-career researchers who are committed to making a difference through their academic work. Following the success of the previous cohorts, we are proud to continue our efforts in cultivating a vibrant community of scholars engaged in advancing the research impact discourse.
The program is designed to provide structured mentorship, access to valuable resources, and a space for
peer-to-peer exchange. Our mission is to empower early-career researchers by helping them build confidence, develop their professional identities, and gain recognition as impact-oriented scholars. This year’s cohort is centered around the theme of building impactful careers, reflecting our belief that scholarly engagement and societal relevance can, and should, go hand in hand.
The 2025 cohort of the Impact Scholar Mentorship Program launched in October 2025. This year, we welcomed 14 early-career researchers from across the globe, including late-stage PhD students, postdoctoral fellows, and assistant professors. Each participant is engaged in exploring novel social and environmental challenges, contributing fresh perspectives to the broader conversation around academic impact.
To support and inspire the cohort, we have partnered with 15 leading senior scholars who serve as mentors throughout the year-long program. These mentors bring a wealth of experience and are deeply committed to fostering the next generation of engaged academics.
